A quiet road side cache between two lovely villages, but keep an eye on little ones and geohounds. Not quite a drive by, as there is not really adjacent parking, although there is abundant parking nearby.

Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket are two of the most beautiful and peaceful of all the Lakeland villages, lying at the foot of the Northern Fells and just inside the Lake District National Park. The timeless character has been preserved as a conservation area where ponies, sheep, cattle and even ducks roam freely. There are lots of amenities and picturesque local walks of all standards; from easy strolls along the river side, to the more strenuous nearby mountains of High Pike or Carrock Fell.

I am a massive rock music fan and aim to give clues to each of my caches with reference to one of my favourite bands: Nightwish are a Finnish symphonic metal band that were formed in 1996. Their music is complex, layered and very melodic with memorable choruses and lots of hooks. They incorporate soaring female vocals, which have almost become a trademark. Although the lyrics of Nightwish are generally serious and dark; initially they were mainly written about mythological and fantasy themes (often with references to ‘metaphysics and nature’), more recently evolving into more personal and introspective. Nightwish are the most successful Finnish band worldwide, selling more than 9 million records, so far.
