Every highway rest area needs a geocache. This one is in the John P. Woodford rest area on westbound I-96 at Mile Marker 111, east of Lansing. It's on level ground, not very far inside the tree line.
Container is a 30-cal ammo can. Although not handicapper accessible, it's an easy walk and should be an easy find.
Please park in a legal parking space in the rest area parking lot before you get out of your car to go find this cache. Don't park along the rest area entrance or exit roads. Please respect the MDOT No Tresspassing signs. You do not need to cross them to get to this cache.
