NAZG: White "Dove" Gift Exchange 🎁 Event Cache

We will meet at White Dove Coffee Shop on Saturday, December 1st from 8:30am - 10:00am.  Remember, the purchase of food is not required to attend this event. 

• 8:30am - 9:00am: Grab a cup Joe (optional), sign the log book, and start socializing with your fellow cachers!
• 9:00am - 9:10am: Update everyone on the NAZG's Great Travel Bug Race.  We will to give awards out for the following achievements: 
  • Most miles accumulated in 6 months
  • Most caches visited in 6 months
  • The closest home (to original location released) in 6 months
  • The furthest traveled (from original location released) in 6 months
• 9:10am - approx. ```9:40am: White "Dove" Gift Exchange (rules below)
• approx. 9:40am - 10:00am: Say our "goodbyes", trade travel bugs, and go find some geocaches!

Would you like to participate in the White "Dove" gift exchange?  Here's what you need to do:

1. Bring a wrapped geocaching related item.  This could be a cache container, cache swag, supplies, unactivated travel bugs, unactivated geocoins, or more!
2. Participants will draw a number to see their placement in the exchange.
3. The participant with #1 will pick up a gift and open it up.
4. The next participant may either open a new gift or 'steal' an opened gift
5. If someone steals your gift, you can steal someone else’s gift or choose and open a wrapped one.
6. Continue until everyone has had a turn for a gift. A turn is ended when an unopened gift has been opened.
7. A gift can only be “stolen” once during a turn. If a gift is taken from someone during one round, she cannot take it back during that same round. She can, however, take it back in a later round if she is in a position to select a gift.
8. A gift cannot be immediately stolen back from the player who just stole it.
9. Once a gift has 3 “owners,” the 3rd owner of a gift gets to keep it – it is retired and can’t be stolen again.
10. The gift exchange ends when the last wrapped gift is chosen and opened.
11. After the last turn, the person who started (since she didn’t get a chance at the beginning) can put back the gift and “steal” a gift according to the rules. This starts the gift exchange again (following the above rules) and ends when someone chooses or is forced to take the gift given up by the person with #1.

**Participation in the White "Dove" gift exchange is optional when attending this event
