- Each person attending will be responsible for any costs incurred for food and drinks.
- All accepts cash, debit or credit cards. Please plan accordingly.
- It is not necessary to buy anything to participate.
- A special souvenir will be given out for finding a cache or an event for today.

We all love caching, so lets add a twist. The game is simple if you want to participate, the game is“SECRET CACHER TWIST” gift exchange, please read the rules below carefully so we all have fun and no one is disappointed. This is totally optional if you don't want to participate in this game.
SECRET CACHER TWIST EXCHANGE GUIDELINES" For the gift exchange, first put a small gift in a suitable (but cheap) caching container and hide it somewhere in Suffolk or Nassau Counties Let's keep the location accessible without special equipment or waiting for a thaw. Suggestions include gift cards, inactivated geocoins, fun swag items, cache containers, No food or candy. just something around $5-$10 in value. This is temporary, so don't put it in a current cache, and don't submit it for review as a potential cache. Write your gift's coordinates into a festive card, seal it in an envelope and bring it to the event. On the New Years Eve event at https://coord.info/GC7ZPTJ We suggest adding your geocaching name and phone number in case you want to wish him or her a happy New Year or gift recipient needs a little more help finding their New Year's Cache. At the event, those who put a card into the kitty will be able to pick one out after we mix them all up. It's a one-to-one exchange, one coordinate per festive card, so bring separate coordinates in separate envelopes to trade for each member that wants to participate in the group who wants to seek a hidden gift by 12/31/2018 Naturally, make sure to first hide a gift at each coordinate you bring! Once the event is over, we'll all dash away only waiting till New Year's day to find the caches. Once you find yours, take the whole thing away container and all. It's yours to hide and bring smiles to other if you wish. When you submit your event "find" online, please thank the cacher who hid your Christmas cache. Feel free to share what is was, if you like, as well as any photo, even one of the cache location, since this is not a regular cache hide.
