This is a 'tribute to Portera'. No wait, that's the name of the cache just NW of here... well this one is also a tribute to Portera, as he let me know of this location (yes, a few other friendly geocachers told me about this location, but he was the first). I was also hoping he could get a FTF on this one... but it looks like that can't happen anymore... oh well, rumor has it that there are more Autobots down south, but only time will tell...
Some anonymous person called the Autobot hotline and left this tip:
Please let Portera know that I have reason to believe there is a missing Energon cube.
Navigate to the following location and observe your surroundings: N 44° 54.253' W 75° 35.917'
You can find the Energon cube here: N 44° 54.(B)(A)(B+1)' W 75° 35.(A)(C)(C+1)', where:
- A = 5 if there is a motorcycle, 6 if there is a van, 7 if there is a boat, or 8 if there is a car
- B = 1 if there is one piece of the Autobot, 2 if there are two or more pieces
- C = 1 if the color is white, 5 if the color is yellow, or 8 if the color is brown/green
Be sure to private message me if you know of any other undiscovered Autobot burial grounds (old cars/trucks/motorcycles/skidoos or random scraps of metal) in, or near, Ottawa ;) - and don't forget to 'favorite' these if you are enjoying the series (this also increases the visibility of this series, and will draw in more cachers).
