About North Menangle Station

Little is know about this station. It is listed at RailNet with the location north east of the bridge and closer to the current Menagle Park Station.The location is on private property.

The station was opened as Menangle Platform on 4 April 1873. At the time it was the southern extension of the line from Campbelltown which was later extended to Picton.

The name of the station was changed to North Menangle on 1 October 1889. The station was in operation until 26 September 1937 when it was closed.

Note: The name of this cache was changed on 2 January 2024 from its former name of For every Bridge a Troll - Menangle.
