So let’s make one thing crystal clear, the cache is not at the posted coordinates unless you feel like climbing the water tower for the view.
I highly do not suggest this.
Also, this is NOT A 24/7 cache, local businesses ask if you would please cache during daylight hours only!
Now, on the other hand, solving the actual cache location does have to do with this story about water. It all begins with my low enthusiasm for water where I don’t know what it is…the fact that if you stop swimming, you die…respect for something that can swallow you whole…or maybe just the fact that its actual work to swim. Regardless, my wife and I were roped into going on a cruise to Aruba.
The first problem arose when we reached the airport and were just about ready to board our flight to Florida when of course, my brother can’t find his ID. This is not new since he is known for his unpreparedness and after about thirty minutes of searching, we got through to where you check your bags in. The lady at the conveyor had asked us to thoroughly inspect our baggage before scanning them in to security but my wife felt everything was fine and threw them up to be screened. Sure enough, buzzers go off, so the attendant opens the bag and finds a jar of coins…coins, I know, right?!? For some reason the security lady wanted to record exactly how much money was listed being in the jar for releasing liability of the airport losing money. My wife of course exclaimed, “how am I supposed to know” and that is when the disgruntled worker yelled “COUNT”!!!
So after about forty-five minutes of change counting we finally make it on the plane and down to the coast of Florida. There we took a shuttle out to the docks where the cruise ships are harbored and on our tickets it states PIER “W”. Well after about an hour of searching all of the piers (which by the way have noooooo letters associated to identify them by), we finally had to stop and ask a local where we were supposed to be at. They pointed us in the direction of a man who looked like he stepped off the Love Boat. When we approached this captain type fellow, he pointed to our tickets under the section marked QTY, which we understood to be quantity of passengers. When he started to shake his head, we realized we had lost my sister-in-law.
This is finally when we noticed that she had already made her way to the bar that was located by the docks. So, after numerous attempts to pull her away, we finally made it onto the ship and ended up actually having quite a good time. Now, as it would seem, it looks like water had nothing to do with my earlier demeanor but then again this whole story is made up anyway. Now the only thing that is real, is the clues in this story that will bring you to the cache location.
Good luck and enjoy the hunt!
PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE LOCATION OF HIDE SO OTHERS MAY HAVE JUST AS MUCH………..EH, FUN….FINDING THIS AS YOU HAVE.
PLEASE PUT CACHE BACK EXACLTY HOW IT WAS FOUND.
LASTLY, SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST HIDE I WILL ADJUST THE DIFFICULTY DEPENDING ON THE FINDS AND ANY QUESTIONS.
THANK YOU!
