Ash was our amazing Field Cocker whom we lost last year, this cache is placed in memory of him. The cache is a large Ammo Can, which was the supporters pack given out at the YM18 Mega this year. Ash attended and enjoyed two Mega's prior to this and it seems fitting that we use the YM18 container.
The cache is placed on a road Ash knew very well, - he always knew he was on his way home when driving up this road, and home in Raydale was his favourite place. Having walked the Roman Road many times, and jumped over most of the walls, he would have appreciated this spot.
There is a trackable placed in the container initally, which originated from the Essex Mega two years ago, - our first, and a fantastic event which was enjoyed by both ourselves and our geohounds.
The cache is placed just off the Roman Road, whilst this is a public bridleway and easily accessible, wheelchairs and pushchairs can get along here, but would only get to within a couple of metres of the cache. When parking please leave the track clear for farm vehicles. Please also make sure the cache is rehidden well.
