This is the third in a series of five puzzle caches hidden around the village of Kalithies. The given coordinates are not where you'll find the cache. To find the cache, you'll have to solve the following puzzle:
The Queen of the mountainous northern Kingdom of Quartica is so fond of squares that she has decreed that her subjects must use a currency based on squared prime numbers. The golden Quartic pound coin is worth 121 pence and there are also silver coins worth 1, 4, 9, 25, and 49 pence.
To the south, in the Republic of Trilesia, the people have voted to use a currency based on powers of the number three. The silver Trilesian dollar coin is equal to 81 cents and there are copper coins valued at 1, 3, 9, and 27 cents.
To the east, the Prime Scientist of Binar has reasoned (quite correctly) that it will be most efficient if her people use a currency based on the binary system where one Binary byte is worth 256 bits. While most transactions in Binar are computer based, you can still find 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, and 128 bit coins, and also the shiny silicon 1 byte coin.
Fortunately, the three nations have agreed to fix exchange rates and one Quartic penny, one Trilesian cent, and one Binary bit are always worth the same as each other.
On a recent trip to the region, I noticed that the price of a bottle of my favourite wine was the same in each country. In Binar I could pay for it using 6 coins, in Trilesia I needed 18 coins, and in Quartica I needed 8 coins. Similarly, my croissant and coffee each morning cost the same in each country. In Binar I needed 4 coins, and in both Trilesia and Quartica I needed 9 coins. I couldn’t pay for either the wine or my breakfast with fewer coins in any of the three countries.
You will find the cache at N36 19.XXX E28 10.YYY where XXX and YYY are the cost in pence/cents/bits (it makes no difference which) of the bottle of wine and my breakfast, respectively.
The cache is the size of a drink can and contains a log book and plenty of space for tradeable items, though you will need to bring your own pen.
Good luck!
