Welcome to the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission's 2018 Geocaching Adventure! This year, we have placed seven geocaches in our properties throughout the county. Your mission is to find them, note the code words listed inside each cache and, once you have found all nine caches, contact us via the Send Email option on Geocaching.com with your complete list of caches and related code words. Don't forget your mailing address! Those geocachers who complete the adventure will receive a special collectible. But wait! There's more! One of our geocaches is a challenge cache, a little more challenging than a traditional hide, so prepare to work! If you're gunning to be our FTF this year, be sure to email us your list of code words as soon as possible! Now head outside and have a wonderful Adventure!
The Trinkle Marsh Preserve in Chelsea borders farmland and features scenic overlooks with views of the marshlands. This property is an ideal viewing spot for migrating birds, including the Sandhill Crane. Please replace the cache carefully once you've signed the log. Thanks!
