Geocache Description:



Don't take the stamp. Bring your own ink pad for this letterbox.

For letterboxes you are meant to stamp the cache's stamp on your own paper and then sign the log with your own stamp. If you don't have a stamp you can sign the log like normal.

Totoro is the spirit if the forest in the classic anime film by Hayao Miyazaki, one of Japan's most beloved animators. The story follows Satsuke and Mei, two young girls who find that their new country home is in a mystical forest inhabited by a menagerie of mystical creatures called Totoros. They befriend O Totoro, the biggest and eldest Totoro, who is also the king of the forest. As the girls' mother lies sick in the hospital, O Totoro brings the sisters on a magical adventure but also helps them to understand the realities of life. This set of 9 stamps is dedicated to the film and feeling around it. When you are searching for these caches I hope you have a good time and enjoy the nature around you.

Located in Heron park, Shoreacers TX. This is a small park but I think it's very beautiful. It has a nice little trail, butterfly garden, benches, hand painted signs, and a kayak ramp. There aren't any real parking spots but I've listed cords for a nice gravel spot to pull off in.

The combination for the lock is the year the movie came out and also my birth year. A quick internet search for "Totoro" will give you the year/lock combination. Please make sure it is locked back and rearrange the lock numbers so it's not on it. I would also appreciate it if you put the logs back over it so it's less visible.

This one is themed after the seed pouch Totoro gives the girls in the movie. All of my caches in this series have swag that I've wrapped to look like the seed pouch gift. You can take one per person and don't have to leave or trade any other swag. This is my special series and I plan to keep the swag filled myself. Please feel free to mention in your log or message me if it gets low or stolen.
