This is the eleventh in a series of midweek regular meets in the centre of Leeds. Zoe94, Sam539 and I decided to get a regular event off the ground. This is an informal get together of geocachers to chat about all things caching and non-caching, and the third in the series that I have hosted.
The event will be at The Hop, Dark Neville Street, Granary Wharf, Leeds, LS1 4BR from 18:30 to 20:30 but I’m sure a few people will stay longer than that. The venue has real ale and cider on tap, as well as food available.
We’re a friendly bunch, so cachers old and new are welcome. If you haven’t been to an event before, drop me a message beforehand and I’ll look out for you. Hopefully we’ll be obvious to find. We should be downstairs in the side arch near the bar.
How to get there:
- By train - Leeds railway station is literally above the venue. Exit via the south entrance. The south entrance closes at 22:00 so if you need to get a train after that time add an extra 5 minutes as you will need to walk round to the main entrance.
- By bus - Leeds City Bus Station is a 15 minute walk away. Many buses also stop nearby at the Train Station or on Wellington Street, all of which are a short walk from the venue.
- By car - Driving into Leeds is not recommended given the proximity to the station. There are a number of streets within 5 or 10 minutes walk of the venue to the south and west, and paid parking nearby (see waypoint) and at the station. The closest multi storey is probably Trinity.
I look forward to seeing you there!
