As a kid traveling back from Maryland every summer to visit family, we always made a trip from Stillwater to Perkins to visit my Uncle Paul & Aunt Irene at their farm.

We made hand cranked Ice Cream, I learned how to "Properly" shell peanuts, Aunt Irene usually had a big pot of corn on the cobb and sliced tomatoes from her garden. Their big dog - I thin a sheep dog  - named Happy was always ready to run & play. They are both gone now but the rest of their family still keep the farm going.

Now that I've moved back to Stillwater, the family has an annual 4th of July celebration - LOTS of memories in this little town.
So Welcome to Perkins, OK!!!
