Happy Winter! We'll be placing trackables in the Amazing Places Geotour caches at random throughout the season. If you find one, follow the directions and be sure to tag us at #amazingplacesmabr to let us know so we can follow along!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to an ongoing issue of rubbing coins going missing from the caches, they are no longer required to complete the Geotour. You can redeem your cache code collection page with just the GeoClue answers completed to get the Amazing Places Geocoin.
The Amazing Places GeoTour (GT8F) will send you on an inspiring adventure to the region's most beautiful natural places. Get your Amazing Places GeoTour Field Guide, downloadable for free from the Amazing Places website here or purchase one at the Parksville Chamber of Commerce or Tigh-Nah-Mara Resort Gift Shop during open hours.
Use the guide to complete the Cache Code Collection Page, including a unique coin rubbing at each of the 8 physical geocache sites to prove your find, and answer the geoclue by finding each of the 10 Amazing Places interpretive signs at each site. Redeem your completed Cache Code Collection Page for a customized Amazing Places GeoTour Geocoin (while supplies lasts).
With almost a kilometre of sandy beach at low tide, a panoramic view of the Coast Mountains across the Salish Sea, and the spectacular Brant migration occurring each spring, it is no wonder that Rathtrevor Beach attracts an average of more than 500,000 visitors annually. Waves, wind, and other natural processes shift the sand along the shoreline, forming coastal dunes, an endangered ecosystem where native plants rely on specialized adaptations to survive.

Starting at Top Bridge, solve the puzzle to get the coordinates for the final cache location. Visit the Amazing Places sign at Top Bridge to fill in the blanks below. Don't forget to visit the Amazing Places signs at both locations to answer the GeoClues for each site in the Field Guide!
