The seventh in an occasional series of morning get-togethers, which aim to be within a few miles of the River Erewash, the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. All geocachers are welcome, for an hour of chat, the sharing of ideas, the exchange of trackables, and anything to do with our hobby.
And for the first time since I started doing these, we will be returning to a venue I have used before. The cafe is called Maggie's Den (postcode NG16 4HJ). Drinks and hot food are available if required. If you haven't already been here, there are a number of recent caches within easy walking distance (though if you head down towards the Erewash, you will need good footwear - where do you think I get my caching name from!)
Please note the co-ordinates for the entrance to the car park - some people drive right past it! Once at the car park, the cafe is the very evident modern building. If you are driving here, then please BE CAREFUL - Aldercar Lane, which leads to the cafe, is badly maintained and is full of potholes; if you drive slowly, there is no problem.
