Bei diesem Cache geht es zuerst darum, ein traditionsreiches Objekt, das seit langem Teil des Wiener Stadtbilds ist, zu identfizieren. Danach ist die Aufgabe der Feldarbeit, drei Stück zu finden, welche dir die Finalkoordinaten liefern. Die Headerkoordinaten sind nur ein Gebietshinweis, aber sollte man tatsächlich keine Idee zum Rätsel haben, kann man ja dort nachschauen gehen.
Allein in Wien gibt es etwa 150 Stück der gesuchten Objekte, österreichweit sind es sogar um die 400. Recht unauffällig stehen sie vorwiegend an Haltestellen und in Parks, wobei das erste Exemplar bereits im Jahre 1888 anlässlich des 40-jährigen Thronjubiläums von Kaiser Franz Joseph auftauchte. Alle, die noch heute existieren sind seit 1980 im Besitz von Herr und Frau Popp, die sich mit größter Sorgfalt um das Reparieren und Warten kümmern. Das Geschäft, das sich mit der Benutzungsgebühr von €0,20 (damals 3 Kreuzer) machen lässt, war Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts jedenfalls deutlich lukrativer als heute. Zahlt heute noch jemand diesen Betrag, dann dient es meist nur der Unterhaltung.
Hast du herausgefunden, worum es geht, dann suche innerhalb der auf der Karte abgebildeten Zone nach 3 solchen Objekten. Sie haben alle eine unterschiedliche Farbe, und die daraufstehenden Seriennummern (N°?????) sind die für dich relevanten Variablen. X und Y können an jedem Exemplar leicht ermittelt werden.
B = Nummer des silbernen Exemplars
C = Nummer des roten Exemplars
D = Nummer des goldenen Exemplars
X = Wert, den du bekommst wenn du es benützt ohne zu zahlen. (ganze, einstellige Zahl)
Y = Kapazitätsgrenze

Er ist etwa 1km entfernt und wunderbar zu Fuß oder mit den Öffis zu erreichen.

This Mystery is about identifying a very iconic object in the city of Vienna. Even if you are not a local, the puzzle should not be much more challenging for you. If you have already been around the city, you may immediately notice what it is about. The cache title could maybe cause some helpful associations for english-speakers. After figuring that out, the outdoor part is finding three of these objects in the area pointed out on the map above to get the coordinates of the cache. The coordinates in the header are unimportant, but you could go there if you really have no clue what the riddle is about.
There are more than 150 objects placed somewhere in Vienna, and even 400 to be found in Austria overall. They are mostly located at stations or in parks waiting for users who are willing to receive the information they offer. Firstly introduced in 1888 on the occasion of the 40-year-anniversary of Kaiser Franz Joseph, the ownership has switched to Mr. and Mrs. Popp in 1980 who maintain and care about them with greatest accuracy and love since then. Therefore, the price of 20 c per usage appears pretty low and was back in the 19th probably much more of a lucrative business. If somebody is paying this price today, it’s probably a tourist who is using it for entertainment only or on the way to the airport loaded with luggage.
Now go outside and look for three of these objects in the marked area. They vary in color, and your task is to notate each serial number (N°?????) for your variables. X and Y can be easily determined at any object.
