Geocache Description:

Hello, New Orleans!

Please join gearguru and MissJenn, 2 Lackeys (staff at Geocaching Headquarters) and 1 unlackey person named Spoon! at this familiar location in City Park. You might be saying to yourself: "Beignet. Done that." It would be very sweet of you to join us anyway!

We'll hang out from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on the last fried dough of November. Be there or be jelly of everyone who is. Better write it on your calendar so you donut forget.

Chat About GeoTours

If you have questions about the GeoTour program, we can answer those questions as that is what gearguru and MissJenn focus on at HQ. We'll tell you the hole truth and nothing but the truth.

Door Prizes

We'll have some small raffle prizes to give away so the sooner you get your free raffle tickets from Spoon!, the batter your chances are of winning something. As the icing on the cruller, we might also sprinkle a few trackable Lackey tags around.

Are you a Social Butterfly? To earn the Social Butterfly souvenir, earn 70 points individually on your Friend League from October 29 at noon UTC to December 3 at noon UTC. This month, earn higher points for attending Event Caches!

Taken from neworleanscitypark.com: "City Park is as magical and unique as the city of New Orleans. The 1,300-acre outdoor oasis has enchanted New Orleanians since 1854, making it one of the nation’s oldest urban parks. Each year, millions of visitors stroll under the same historic oaks and picturesque moss canopies that served as the backdrop for dances, concerts and even gentlemanly duels or “affaires d’honneur” for generations."
