Geocache Description:

***Please restrict the search for this cache to daylight hours and DO NOT post any spoiler photos. Photos of the general area are welcome but if I deem any to be in the spoiler category, they will be deleted. ***

Appropriately named, this cemetery is at the corner of Cemetery Rd and St. Fillans Rd. Years ago, three separate cemeteries were integrated into the present day "United Cemeteries of St. Fillans, Pine Grove, and Maplewood". It covers a large expanse, bordered by roads on two sides, and farmers' fields on the other.

This cache will take you for a short walk around the cemetery and you may come across aspects of which not many cemeteries can boast. There are several gated entrances which were all open when I was there on a week day in early November. This may likely not be the case after the snow flies, but the all the waypoints will be accessible, as well as the resting place of the cache itself.

In order to calculate the final coordinates, visit the waypoints in the order that they are listed (it isn't really required but is the most efficient way), but please take your time to read some of the headstones as some of the inscriptions honour the pioneers of Beckwith and Carleton Place.

Let's go for a stroll... Parking is available near the first waypoint. On the nearby building, you will see two plaques, one on either side of the front entrance. One of them reads, "CREMATORIUM". What is the digital root of the year this building was dedicated? Subtract 3 for the value of A.

For the next waypoint, you can either enter the cemetery, or go along the road which will lead you to some concrete steps with an alternate entrance to the cemetery. You will looking for the grave of a young person. Take the sum of the first digit and the last digit of the year of his passing to arrive at the value of B.

You will now be entering the cemetery grounds for the next waypoint. This family must have been well respected and wealthy to have their own mausoleum which is not a common sight. What is the digital root of the name of the family? The answer will be the value of C.

Stay right where you are! There is a date on the building above the doorway. Add 2 to the digital root of this number. The result will be the value of D.

Just a short walk away, you will find a gravestone which is in honour of three brothers. On the side you are facing with the previous WP over your right shoulder, there is a description of an incident that happened to this young man while in France. What is the digital root of the six letter word describing what happened to him? This will be the value of E.

On the opposite side of the grave marker are the names of two of his brothers who never made it home. Where is Harold buried? The number of letters in this community will be the value of F.

The cache will be found at: N45° 08.ABC W076° 04.DEF
