Geocache Description:

This cache is placed along the lower part of the Bobcat Trail located on the western flanks of Ranger Ridge. It was placed during a point to point hike, starting at Station Flats PRA and using parts of the Tom Snow, Ridgeback #1, Bobcat and Fullerton Loop trails, ending at the Allen Bill PRA. The Bobcat Trail is one of the relatively new and beautifully constructed trails by West Bragg Creek Trails Association(see the online West Bragg Creek Trail Maps for more detail). It is a multi-use trail with easy grades and many great views. This cache is located by a tight switchback just before the trail crosses a large meadow about 240 m from the intersection with a connector trail that leads to the Fullerton Loop Trail.

CROSSING THE MEADOW

This area is west of Bragg Creek off Hwy 66 and the cache can be accessed from either the Station Flats PRA or the Allen Bill PRA. It could be a point to point or an out and back hike using the trails mentioned above. All these options will result in a total distance of about 10 kms with an approximate cumulative elevation gain of 275 m.

The cache is a small LnL in a hanger, in a Pine Tree,  about 5 feet off the ground. On a repeat visit I added finders cards for the first 12 cachers.

As always when hiking in the woods over rough ground come prepared with all required gear including bear spray.
