Geocache Description:

國立台北科技大學的精神象徵「紅樓」，為日治中期典型的磚造2層樓建築，建於1926年，至今已91年，是台北市市定古蹟。1926年蓋紅樓時，完全是由當年台北工專土木、建築、機械、電機系共4系的學生一起蓋起來的，體現「北工的實作精神」。

紅樓是台北科大最古老的建物，2017年經過半年修復完成。為了保存原有的格局，留下歷史的痕跡，特別保留2樓1/3的老舊天花版，另外包括40、50年的通氣孔鐵片，以及樓梯扶手的校徽等等老元素，也都保存下來。
