Welcome to Bickley!
This is a hidden spot in the North Yorkshire Moors that we often find ourselves while taking part in other hobbies that aren’t geocaching related (Yes, they exist!)
This is our first weekend out since I moved to York for University in late September and I had brought all my cache placing gear with me as they contained a few bugs we have been carrying around for a while. In the summer of 2018 the area played host to one of the biggest annual caching events in the UK and, as well as being my first mega, it was an event thoroughly enjoyed by 100’s that set sail for the trip to God’s Country (Arrr.)
The cache is hidden inside what would have been a lifeline many years ago for a location like this and may need a little bit of force and pressure to open. (And bring a teddy if there are any spiders). Tweezers may be needed to sign the log and, if you would like, photos of the area as it changes through the seasons would be appreciated.
