This cache is located in Algonquin Provincial Park, in Ontario
Canada. A permit is required to use the park, and therefore one is
needed to access this cache.
The cache is located on Tea Lake off highway sixty in the park.
For the short route you can start from the Tea Lake dam picnic
area, or for a longer route you can start from the beach at the Tea
Lake campground (or even longer route is from the portage store on
canoe lake, where you can rent canoes!). Either will work. It would
be a big mistake to try and walk to this cache, it must be accessed
by canoe, however since the lake is relativly small, it is an easy
paddle, and wind is rarely a problem here.
A "Canoe routes of Algonquin park" map would definately be a
good idea especially if you decide to approach this from one of the
two distant access points.
