Nel paese di Fornacette, frazione di Calcinaia, si trova uno dei rifugi antiaerei meglio conservati della Toscana. Fu costruito tra la fine del 1942 e l'inizio del 1943 a protezione degli ufficiali di stanza nei terreni del Conte Orsini, e poteva contenere circa 50-60 persone, nei tre vani sotterranei che costituiscono la struttura. La denominazione di bunker è in realtà impropria dato che la struttura non poteva essere usata per attacchi da terra. Dalla fine del 2016 è possibile visitare il bunker contattando l'associazione che lo gestisce.
La cache è un contenitore di dimensioni nano, nascosta su uno degli ingressi del rifugio. Portatevi da scrivere. Buona ricerca!
In the village of Fornacette, a hamlet of Calcinaia, there is one of the best preserved air raid shelters in Tuscany. It was built between the end of 1942 and the beginning of 1943 to protect the officers stationed in the lands of Count Orsini, and could hold about 50-60 people, in the three underground rooms that make up the structure. The name of bunker is actually improper because the structure could not be used for ground attacks. From the end of 2016 it is possible to visit the bunker by contacting the association that manages it.
