My grandson, wife, and I were attending the Flags of Valor field at Handy Park. My grandson was part of the scout group bringing down the large flag at the end of the day. The park is behind Handy School. All tolled their were 1776 flags. Many of them had been paid for through donations from the community. Many of the flags had biographies of past and current veterans ribbons attached showing medals and citations earned by each veteran. It was a very impressive sight.
The park is part of the local little league.
