Alle lande har sine foretrukne cache beholdere, og denne lille serie omhandler cache beholdere, som jeg har mødt eller må forventes at møde i Thailand. Samtidig får vi undersøgt om beholderne egner sig til Danmark.

Denne type er den mest anvendte i Thailand, og over halvdelen af de caches, som jeg har mødt i Thailand er af denne type. Det er en billig plastik beholder, der oprindeligt er beregnet til kosmetik, men som har vist sig at være god som cachebeholder i områder med mange muglers. Man ser oftest disse cachebeholdere med magnet og siddende bag på en informationstavle. Beholderen er malet i forskellige farver afhængig af omgivelserne. De fleste geocachere i Thailand har altid ekstra beholdere med på tur, så det er muligt at genplacere en cache, hvis den er forsvundet.

I Lan Luang Street i Bangkok – se reference point - er der en del butikker, der sælger disse og mange andre plastikbeholdere. Så er man alligevel i Bangkok, så kig forbi og se mulighederne.


 All countries have their favorite cache containers, and this small series deals with cache containers, which I have met or are expected to meet in Thailand. At the same time, we will investigate whether the containers are suitable for Denmark.

This type is the most used in Thailand, and over half of the caches that I have met in Thailand are of this type. It is a cheap plastic container, originally intended for cosmetics, but which has proven to be good as cache container in areas with many muglers. You usually see these cache containers with magnet and seated bag on an information board. The container is painted in different colors depending on the surroundings. Most geocacher in Thailand always have extra containers, so it is possible to reposition a cache if it has disappeared.
