How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Cache is a small glucose test strip container hidden along a disabled rail line. Make sure you pull well off the paved road when you park your vehicle and I would not recommend trying to drive on this trail with your vehicle as it doesn't have enough room for two vehicles to pass each other and there seems to be some metal fragments sticking up along the trail. It should be a nice easy hike through the forest common to the east side of Lake Winnipeg. Other than the first cache, all the caches are winter friendly. No FTF Certificate, please bring your own writing tool.

During the hunting season, Sept 1st - Nov 30th I would recommend that you wear bright colours or blaze orange, just in case there are big game or upland hunters around.

All non-virtual geocaches must contain a logbook. If it must contain a logbook for you to sign, then you must sign said logbook. If your name is not in the logbook then you have not truly found the geocache. Bring something to mark in the logbook if you you would like to count the find.
