Probably most of us don't know that "Divide" was originally named "Hayden's Divide" after a man by the name of Ferdinand Hayden. He was a geologist, surveyor and palentologist who helped to map out the area. It is known as "Divide" because water run-offs separated, at this point, and ran off in various directions.
This is a shiny little bison tube. It is located near the trailhead at Hayden Divide Community Park. If necessary, you can remove it to sign the log but please re-attach it in the vicinity of where you found it. It is a log only. B.Y.O.P.
You may need tweezers or a small stick to grab it and pull it out of the container.
