When I picked up this Travel Bug the other day, I thought “wow a Swedish flag”. I immediately thought about my grandfather whose last name was Johnson, even though his father’s last name was Magnusson. His father's first name was John, which then became my grandfather's last name (with a "son" added on the end). My great-great-grandfather’s first name was (guess what?) Magnus. Had my parents stayed in Sweden, my father’s last name would have been Carlson.
The puzzle is one of those tricky things that only occur in certain circumstances (and this is one of them). The solution will be obvious so a checker is not required.
