Geocache Description:


Welcome to the 2nd cache of the HD JP Series. This is a series of eight caches and a final with a small award for finishers which has been published in honor of the memory of a good friend and master cacher. The first seven caches in the series published on the same day, so you can hunt those at will. Just to make things interesting, the last one will publish on or about December 1, so stay tuned! The eight caches are spread out over a large geographic area, however, so an important TOTT for this series will be your map! The list of all the caches is here: HD JP Series Caches. Be sure to collect the code word from each cache in the series; you will need those words in order to solve the puzzle for the coordinates to the final.

The first time I went caching with Larry was when we were staying at the same motel in Martinsburg WV. I had talked to him many times at different events but had done little caching. We spent the weekend finding WVTim gadget caches and more than once calling WVTim for a hint to open a cache. You will be sorely missed my friend, by me and many others.
