This is the second in the series of three events welcoming home everyone from the Cold Northland. NOTE: This is a meet, trade, and greet type of event. The "trade" part of the introduction is to ask each of you to bring something relating to geocaching and place it in a paper bag. For example, it could be a travel bug, a cache ready to go, some log sheets, misc. stuff that could be placed in a larger cache--anything relating to geocaching. It may be some small toys or trickets. We will draw numbers and you can select any sack you want. In the past, this type of activity always has been fun. PLEASE NOTE: The trade idea is optional so if you don't want to participate with a trade, no problem. You are still very welcome to attend the event. Trades have been a fun part of events in Texas, so thought we would include this as a part of this event. But again, trade items are not necessary at all to attend this event.
The general purpose of this event is to welcome back y'all from the Frozen Northland as well as folks that are here in the area. Of course, events are open to anyone. For those of you who are new to geocaching, these are fun. They are a way to meet other cachers and to ask any questions you want of those who may be more experienced in geocaching.
The event is being held at a local popular restaurant (same place as the first of the series). The breakfasts are good and reasonable priced. Just order off the menu. The time of the event is 9:00 and will conclude about 10:00. Be sure to sign up so that I can get a count to give to the restaurant.
Come prepared to enjoy, have a nice breakfast, and just have fun. See you.
