TOY and FOOD DRIVE!

As in the past, we will be collecting toys and non-perishable food items.  This year, I have chosen Circle of Concern in Valley Park, MO to receive our items.  Terribikes+, who volunteers with this organization, will be in charge of the donations and has agreed to deliver them for us.  Please donate NEW toys for age newborn through age 15. They will be used as gifts in Circle of Concern’s Birthday Club Program.  Everyone who donates a toy, will be given a ticket for a door prize drawing. If you donate non-perishable food, you will be given a door prize ticket. If you donate a toy AND food, you will receive 2 tickets!! Thank you to past SLAGA Christmas Party attendees for their generous donations to the organizations chosen to receive our items.  I know Terri's car will be filled to overflowing this year.

Here is a list of a few frequently needed/rarely donated items:

Breakfast cereal (especially children’s sugared cereals)

Infant diapers, sizes 5 & 6

Canned fruit

Shortly before the event, I will post an announcement listing “immediate” food pantry needs if you would like to wait to purchase food items.

FUN! FUN! FUN!

Spiritwolf922 has agreed to organization a white elephant gift exchange during the party.  If you would like to take part, please make note of that in your "Will Attend" log and bring a wrapped white elephant gift to the event.  Spiritwolf asks that the gift be approximately $10 in value. It can be something that's never been used, and taking up space in your closet, or something you purchase. If you have any questions, contact Spiritwolf922.
