Barnby-in-the-Willows village hall is a Grade II listed building, having achieved the status on 15 October 1984.
The village hall was originally the Jubilee School being built in 1850. The key stone above the door also shows this.
The village school closed in 1948 with the building falling into disrepair before being purchased by the parish council in 1977 with a renovation immediately taking place.
Today, the hall is used weekly by a variety of different social groups.
This is the village I have always lived in and I am very proud to have a hall like this available to use.
