John Oliver Park is located on Highway 10 in Delta BC, and close to Highway 91 and Highway 99. Easy access for those coming up from the USA or points in BC, and from the Ferries at Tsawwassen Terminal. The Park provides ample parking, and walking in the Park is easy as the grass is cut and most of the fields are used for sports. Washrooms are open during most days at the building near the main parking late, around back. Dog lovers can bring their dog, and let it run, many people enjoy that. There may be coyotes in the area, I usually see a few every year, so be cautious of small dogs on the loose. There is speed limit in the park, and it is closed at night, and night access is contrary to local bylaws. The park is a major sports field for youth, and sports games are often played there. While walking through the park, please keep off the actual sports fields to preserve their nature. Ample walking around the sports area is available and the grass is usually cut short. There is not much interference in the park to offset your gps, so co-ordinates should be easy. At the park entrance, gps interference does exist. You are looking for a container with a log in it, about shoe sole level.
