Geocache Description:

Following the success of the 2017 Tyneside geocaching community Pub Quiz organised by Mike Armstrong, and our own attempt in January 2018, here is a chance to be third-time lucky in 2019!

The Third Annual pub quiz will be held from 7pm until at least 9pm on Thursday 10th January 2019.

The perfect antidote to Christmas and New Year, pop along to the The Bridge Hotel for an evening of chat, a few drinks and some quizzing.

It will be a fun quiz, some of it with a geocaching theme, and nothing too hard. There will, of course, be prizes!!

The quiz element of the evening will begin at 7.30pm. For this event, we will be in the upstairs function room not the main part of the pub. Look out for signs on the night.

Teams will be drawn from a hat on the night. Newcomers, and visitors who have been tossed-up on our shores from distant lands, won't be left on their own. It’s an ideal chance to come along and meet people if you are new to our mad little hobby.

We'll be there (with the logbook) until at least 9pm, so if you can’t make it for the quiz don’t worry – just come along anyway.

Unfortunately under 18s are not allowed in the pub in the evening.

The postcode is NE1 1RQ. There is very limited parking next to the pub, but the Dean Street Car Park is close and free from 5pm. Even better why not take a train or metro to Central Station, walk across and have a drink.
