Geocache Description:

Access the area via Marton Road, parallel to and west of County Road in Windsor, VT. Turn onto Pond Road off Marton Road, go approximately 0.1 mile up Pond Road, turn left at fork, park near row of boulders at coordinates N 43 30.024 W 072 26.501. Walk up path approximately 100 meters to trail with boulders and log at entrance. Follow trail through mostly forest cover to cache. Satellite reception may decline in forest, continue on path to regain satellite reception in field near cache.

Cache is in transparent 3 quart plastic container, blue screw-on lid. Contains small machines, literature, tools and toys and a cache log book. You are very likely to hear or see wildlife enroute. Please DO NOT walk through cultivated fields, rather, go around them. Site is popular hunting area, dress for high visibility during hunting seasons. Horse hockey litters trails, tread deftly. Enjoy the view east toward New Hampshire from field close to cache. Container is in a "very rocky area." Land is owned by the State of Vermont and managed by the Department of Forest, Parks and Recreation. Cache is named in honor of two of the State guys who manage the land. Difficulty 2/3.
