Public Art...there is much around and it’s so beautiful, especially sculptures from recycled materials.
This sculpture was created by Christopher Trotter . The front part of this sculpture was one of the original freight trucks purchased over 73 years ago by the local trucking company. The ‘boxes’ on the trailers have been reclaimed from station dumps around the district were used to cart water. Local school students collected the horseshoes that adorn the boxes, creating an illusion of ‘steel wool’ and adding texture to the artwork.
