This series is for those who like to walk and tick off the hills, peaks and trig points as you go.

#8 - Stanton Moor

Database of British and Irish hills #5335

Stanton Moor is approximately 323m / 1060ft in height and falls in the Hump and the Tump catergories.

Humps are hills of any height with a drop of 100 metres or more on all sides  The name Hump stands for HUndred Metre Prominence.
A Tump is a hill in Scotland, England, Wales or the Isle of Man which is separated from adjacent tops by a height difference of at least 30 metres on all sides.
