Cache Description
This is a 4 stage mystery cache. You must visit each stage posted in the additional waypoint section below. At each stage you will gather a part of the 4 digit combination that unlocks the ammo can that is placed at the posted coordinates (inside the office).
Stage 1. You will find two displays with long guns (not pistols). How many long guns do you see? You can verify this number by counting the number of swords in another display. This number of long guns = "A".
Stage 2. You will have to find a park ranger and request a full tour. Keep an eye on your GPS so you know when you are at stage two. What year was Mr. Stephens' Gas Machine that didn’t burn gasoline patented? Add all the digits in the year together and you will come up with a two digit number. Now add those two digits together. This number = "B".
Stage 3. How many gallons of water does the tank inside the tower hold? Add all the digits in the number of gallons and you will have a one digit number. Now add those two digits together. This number = "C".
Stage 4. You will see a building and a rather unique name engraved just above the door. One letter seems to be out of place. Count all the letters of the name and then subtract one for the misplaced letter. This number = "D".
The combination for the lock is "ABCD".
