Cache Description
This is a 4 stage mystery cache. You must visit each stage posted in the additional waypoint section below. At each stage you will gather a part of the 4 digit combination that unlocks the ammo can that is placed at the posted coordinates (inside the office).
Stage 1. Structures and Work of the CCC - Read the CCC interpretive panel at the Lake Kolomoki Spillway. Which picnic shelter has a large fireplace made of local stones? This number = 'A'.
Stage 2. Dwellings and Lifestyle at Kolomoki - Read the historic marker at the dwelling. What is the second digit under the Occupation at Kolomoki for the start of the Mid-to-Late Woodland Period? This number = 'B'.
Stage 3. Mound A - While reading the interpretive panel located here, identify the abundance of resources foraged in the area. How many types of nuts are identified? This number = ‘C’
Stage 4. Historic Marker - Read the Historic Marker outside of the Visitor's Center. The mounds were constructed between 200-00 CE. This number = 'D'.
