Peștera Șura Mare is a water cave located in the West of Sureanu Mountains (Sebesului) in Gradistea Muncelului Natural Park along the course of Lunca Ponorului stream. The length of the cave is 3.143 metres.
The cave's entrance is impressive, approximately 40m high and 12m wide. The cache is located at the entrance.
Car can be parked in the Ohaba village. From there the walking distance to the cave is about one kilometre.
You will be following the river so rubber boots or crocs-style shoes are recommended.
