Come join us for a family friendly campfire on the lake on Saturday, February 9, from 6 to 10 pm. We'll provide the fire but please bring your own snacks & drinks, dress warm. Lawn chairs may be a good idea too.
Watching the ice fishermen enjoying their campfires on the lake always has me scratching my head! How can there be a fire on the ice and they're not falling in? The idea just doesn't make any sense to me! But since our first three Fire & Ice events were such a big success, we decided to host another one!!!
Please bring your best campfire stories and join us as we enjoy a beautiful winter evening on the lake. Parking is available on Farnum's Causeway near the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. To insure everyone's safety, please wear Yak Track's on your boots so you can walk safely out onto the ice.
