PLEASE post a "Will Attend" so we have enough tables reserved! This is a busy time of year at restaurants. Also, if we know you are coming well in advance, we can be sure to have enough materials for the games and activities.

Christmas is a time of year for celebrating friends, reflecting on the year's accomplishments, giving gifts, and appreciating all that we have. Festivus is an annual celebration with "Airing of Grievances", "Feats of Strength", and easily explainable "Festivus Miracles". Like last year, both traditions will be celebrated at this event.
Events starts at 7:00PM for general socializing, eating, and "airing of grievances". (Note: Food purchase is not required to attend).
Around 8:00 or 8:30, once everyone has eaten and there is room on the tables, we will likely have the following:
* Year's accomplishments awards
* Geocaching gift exchange (optional)
* "Feats of Strength" (could be strength of mind, hands, spoons, plastic wrap ... you never know what could happen)
* "Festivus Miracles" (maybe Liz and I won't have wine, maybe Allysmom and Nuggie won't be the first to solve a puzzle, maybe the kids will actually socialize rather than playing games on their phones, or maybe Joyce and Tony won't be catching Pokemon. Who knows what Festivus miracles might happen.)
OPTIONAL - Bring a $15 geocaching-related gift for a crazy swap gift exchange.
Event is at a new venue this year with much better seating. I have stopped by and met with the manager. We will be seated on the enclosed, heated patio and will have the entire area to ourselves. There will plenty of room for walking around, mingling, games, and possibly a slide show. The band previously scheduled for Saturday night has been moved to Friday night so that we are free to talk and play games without feeling like we are being rude to the band. Reservation is under the name of "Pam".
FYI ... Although this is a BBQ restaurant, the menu includes a wide variety of items such as Wings, Nachos, Mozarella Sticks, Fried Pickles, Poppers, Pizza, Crab Cakes, Baked Spaghetti, Vegetable Plates, Ribs, Pork Chops, Chopped Steak, Chicken, Hot Dogs, Burgers, BBQ, Fries, Deep Fried Twinkies and quite a few other things. There is a kids' menu available as well with Grilled Cheese, Mac & Cheese, Hot Dogs, Corn Dogs, Chicken Tenders, BBQ and Baked Spaghetti.
Event officially goes from 7:00 - 9:00, however, you are welcome to come earlier if you like and our KVAG events tend to linger on after the official ending time as people continue to chit-chat.
