E = Who foretold the name 'Elessar' at the child's birth? What colour was the stone which caused the people of Minas Tirith to call its bearer by that name (Elessar)? Take the name of the foresighted and the colour of the stone. Convert these to numbers and take the smaller one from the larger. This gives you E.
