This Nature Trust land series is in an area that was formerly populated by “the fork” series which has been archived. The trail up is sure to get your heart pumping and muscles working. There are some great views and oddities along the way. Caches are made from repurposed household items and should be relatively easy to find. The terrain varies so check the ratings and descriptions. There is a mystery cache too, as a bonus, so make sure to write down the numbers you find in the first 6 caches in order to find the mystery cache location.
This cache takes you up the trail to the left where the path splits. It is a very neat detour. You can see a semi circle tree stump, a forbidden cave that has petroglyphs on the left side of the entrance, a memorial tree, and a metal ladder that, I guess, takes you up on top of the rock outcropping. The reward at the top is a view of Penticton. The cache is away from all these oddities in a naturally camo’d spot. You will need to return the way you came up to rejoin the main trail.
