By the Shores of Gitche Gumee was written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. This cache is a copy of one that my wife and I found while on vacation in Michigan this past fall. The original cache is located next to one of the Great Lakes that can be found in Michigan, although here in SW Kansas we are a bit shy on Lakes, we once again want to bring attention to the "lake" found right here in Garden City, Kansas.
The cache is hiddn in a visible container that these terms have in common:

This is a small cache that can hold small trade iteams, I have put a TB in it for the FTF. Please DO NOT park on the busy street but rather find parking on side streets as you get close to the cache.
