Coppicing, scrub clearance and tree work at Green Lane Reserve 10:00 - 13:00
Sunday 13th January
Parking: There is some on street parking on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: We will meet in the reserve (published co-ordinates), access to the reserve is from Laxton Road.
What: We will be coppicing, which will provide resources to use for future hedge restoration events, scrub clearing and some tree work.
How: Felicity the Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance, gloves, saws and loppers. Please bring your own if you prefer.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.They will introduce the session and do the health and safety bit prior to work commencing. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
