Geocache Description:


CB is the short for Celebrate Brummelbear (4-7-1944 – 3-17-2018). Leo’s vision of events in Detroit and on Belle Isle live on in his memory.


Brummelbear’s BIMT – Rising from the Ashes was placed for the 2008 Belle Isle “monument tour” event. Detroit has risen and fallen several times over the years that Leo lived through. He was very pleased to see the state take control of his beloved island 6 years ago.
