The Geocache map seems to be a bit devoid of caches in the Rhyl area. As an attempt to rectify this I will set some more caches in this series in the coming months .Good hunting and hope you enjoy these caches.
This cache is located in a small park opposite “Tyn Rhyl” which is reputed to be the oldest house in Rhyl being built about 1672.It is alleged that some of the stones used in its construction came from Rhuddlan Castle.
The park is situated on Vale Road which is very busy so take care with Geo kids and dogs. Also no parking is allowed so use the car park in the King George V (Coronation Gardens) playing fields which is opposite. You can also use this car park to visit the Botanical Gardens cache GC60GNQ
**Congratulations to Stuarthouse and the 77 Club for FTF. **
