This geocache is located near Lula M. McElroy Park in the city of Daytona Beach shores. The park project was funded in part by the county of Volusia echo grant program approved by its citizens November 2000, to construct environmental, cultural, historical, and outdoor recreation projects. Financial assistance also provided by the Daytona Beach racing and recreation facilities district and by the Florida department of environmental protection through the Florida recreation development assistance program. The Lula McElroy Park is a beautiful place to relax, cook up some barbecue, play tennis, basketball, or the world famous pickleball courts. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.
