Welcome to this pu 'uhonua this place of refuge. The ponds were once used to raise fish. Now they are healthy wetlands that provide food, shelter and nesting for the endangered Hawaiian birds. Gates are open 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (except National holidays). Bring pen/pencil to sign log.
